Three white stickers were stucked on top of the front-page covering part of the word PASSPORT. On the back cover, 6 Chinese characters were handstamped.
Strangely, it was only renewed for one year, from 27 May 1974 until 27 May 1975.

The President of the Republic of Singapore requests and requires all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and to afford the bearer such assistance and protection as maybe necessary.
Presiden Republik Singapura meminta dan menghendaki sekelian yang berkenaan supaya membenarkan pemegang paspot ini bergerak bebas dengan tidak di-ganggu atau di-halang dan memberikan kapada-nya segala pertolongan dan perlindongan yang perlu.

PERINGATAN
1. Paspot adalah di-keluarkan dan di-baharui oleh pehak yang berkuasa di-Singapura dan oleh Wakil2 Singapura di-negara2 lain yang mana permohonan2 hendaklah di-kemukakan kapada mereka. Di-mana tidak terdapat Wakil Singapura, permohonan2 hendaklah di-kemukakan kapada Wakil Malaysia, dan di-mana tidak ada Wakil Malaysia, permohonan2 itu hendaklah di-kemukakan kapada Pegawai Konsulat British.
2. Paspot boleh di-dapati untok masa lima tahun sebagai permulaan, kechuali di-nyatakan sebalek-nya, dan hendaklah di-baharui dari tarikh paspot itu mati, tetapi tidak boleh melebehi jumlah masa sah-nya iaitu sepuloh tahun dari tarikh paspot itu mula di-keluarkan. Bayaran bagi tiap2 tahun paspot itu di-baharui ialah lima ringgit. Paspot2 ini tidak boleh di-dapati hinga lebeh daripada sepuloh tahun dari tarikh ia mula di-keluarkan. Jika tiada tempat lagi di-dalam paspot untok visa, suatu paspot baru hendak di-ambil.
3. Paspot boleh di-dapati bagi negeri2 yang di-tunjokkan di-muka 4. Jika sa-saorang menggunakan paspot dengan melanggar larangan2 dan tegahan2 yang di-kenakan pada-nya maka ia mungkin akan kehilangan perlindongan daripada Wakil2 Singapura semasa dia berada di-negeri lain. Bahawa sa-saorang itu mempunyai paspot bukanlah berma’ana dia di-kechualikan daripada menurut dan mematohi undang2 imigeresen di- negeri2 lain atau di-kechualikan daripada mengambil visa atau permit di-mana dia di-kehendaki berbuat demikian.
4. Suata paspot yang mengandungi keterangan mengenai anak2 pemegang paspot tidak boleh didapati untok kegunaan anak2-nya itu jika anak2-nya itu mengcmbara dengan tidak di-temani oleh pemegang pasport itu.
5. Kanak2 yang umor-nya telah meningkat15 tahun mesti-lah mempunyai paspot sendiri.
PENDAFTARAN SEMASA Dl-NEGERI LAIN
6. Warganegara2 Singapura yang tinggal di-negeri lain hendaklah sechepat mungkin mendaftarkan nama dan 'alamat mereka dengan Wakil Singapura atau dengan saorang wakil saperti yang tersebut dalam perenggan satu di-atas. Kalau sa-saorang tidak berbuat demiikian dalam suatu masa dharurat maka ia mungkin sukar mendapat bantuan dan perlindongan yang seharus-nya di-berikan kapada-nya sebagai warganegara Singapura. Tidak mendaftarkan diri saperti yang tersebut tadi mungkin juga mengakibatkan kehilangan Kewarganegaraan Singapura. Perubahan 'alamat atau pemergian dari sa-sabuah negeri itu hendaklah di-ma'alumkan juga kapada Wakil tersebut.
HATI-HATI
7. Paspot ini ialah milek Kerajaan Singapura dan boleh di-tarek balek bila2 masa sahaja. Janganlah kirim paspot dari sabuah negeri ka-sabuah negeri melalui pos.
8. Paspot adalah suatu benda yang berharga dan tidak boleh di-ubah walau sadikit pun atau di-biarkan jatoh ka-tangan orang yang tiada berkuasa menyimpan-nya. Kalau hilang atau rosak, butir2 keterangan berkenaan dengan kehilangan atau kerosakan itu hendaklah di-berikan segera kapada Pejabat Paspot yang hampir sekali di-Singapura, atau kapada Wakil di-luar negeri yang hampir sekali dan kapada pulis tempatan. Kalau tiada Wakil Singapura, kehilangan itu hendaklah di-laporkan kapada Wakil Malaysia yang hampir sekali atau kapada Pegawai Konsulat British. Paspot baru di-keluarkan hanya setelah di-jalankan siasatan yang sechukup2-nya. |

NOTES
1. Passports are issued and renewed by the competent authorities in Singapore and by representatives of Singapore abroad to whom applications should be made. Where there is no Singapore Representative, applications should be made the Malaysian Representative, and if there is no Malaysian Representative, to a British Consular Officer.
2. They are available for five years in the first instance unless otherwise stated, and should be renewed from the date of expiry, provided the total period of validity of ten years from the original date is not exceeded. The fee for each year of renewal is five dollars. They are not available beyond ten years from the original date of issue. If at any time the passport contains no further space for visas, a new passport must be obtained.
3. Passports are available for the countries shown on Page 4. A person using a passport in contravention of the restriction and limitations imposed in it may have the protection of the Singapore Representatives withdrawn while he is abroad. The possession of a passport does not exempt the holder from compliance with any immigration regulations in force in countries abroad, or from the necessity of obtaining a visa or permit where required.
4. A passport including particulars of the holder’s children is not available for the children’s use when they are travelling alone.
5. Children who have reached the age of 15 years require separate passports.
REGISTRATION WHILE ABROAD
6. Citizens of Singapore who are resident abroad should at the earliest opportunity register their names and addresses with a Singapore Representative or with a representative mentioned in paragraph 1 above. Failure to do so in a period of emergency may result in difficulty or delay in according Citizens of Singapore the assistance and protection to which they are entitled. Failure to register may also render them liable in certain circumstances to the loss of Citizenship of Singapore. Changes of addresses or departure from the country should also be reported.
CAUTION
7. This passport remains the property of the Government of Singapore and may be withdrawn at any time. Passports should not be sent from one country to another by post.
8. It is a valuable document and should not be altered in any way or allowed to pass into the possession of an unauthorised person. If lost or destroyed, the fact and circumstances should be immediately reported to the nearest Passport Office in Singapore, or to the nearest Representative abroad and to the local police. Where there is no Singapore Representative the loss should be reported to the nearest Malaysian Representative or British Consular Officer. New passports can only be issued after exhaustive enquiries.
