On page 12, there is a visa permission to visit America and very interestingly, that there is a note at the bottom:

Bearer is requested to inform local U.S. Immigration Office in advance of travel more than 25 miles from Ridgewood, N.Y.

Another remark - this type of USSR passport was bigger than standard dimensions.
9 cm widht 13.5 cm height (ratio 1.0 : 1.5)
(it was typical for all Eastern Europe countries including Poland, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria)
later Soviet passports were already typical 8,8 x 12.5

This guy from USSR passport should be really angry for his descriprtion as "Russian". He is (was) Lithuanian.

Description of US Immigation stamp is incorrect : it's not a stamp from New York airport but from Shannon, Ireland, where US has "Pre-flight inspection" post ("PFI Shannon"). It means immigration procedure (and customs too) is held before boarding plane, not at the point of arrival.
