Singapore : Passport (1971 — 1976)

An interesting passport from the Republic of Singapore, issued to a doctor who had travelled to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.

In the early days, the issuing office used number similar to national identity card for the passport.

It also has special permission to visit China by the Singapore Passport Office and also tourist permit from the Chinese Trade Mission.

While the holder was permitted to renew the passport for an additional five years, he opted to apply for a new one as seen from a renewal receipt that was found in between pages.
